Base retirement, redemption and deposit counters stay separate from Polygon. The field named base_carbon_bridged_tonnes_alltime is a deposit sum in the collector: re-pooling may count the same carbon again. It measures deposit flow, not unique carbon bridged.

Carbon pools & token distribution — contract reads

Pool remaining tonnage, token supply and holder/transfer counters retain the exact held units and chain-specific origin links. Token supply, remaining pool tonnage and retirement history are different quantities. Independent sources may disagree; no reconciliation is applied.
