DePIN revenue & fees — 30 day

Generated 2026-08-21T03:58:02Z

Why this is two tables and not one. Fees are what users pay. Revenue is what the protocol keeps. A network can lead on one and be absent from the other, so merging them into a single “revenue” ranking would be a category error. Coverage differs too: fees are observable for 18 networks, the fee/revenue split for only 8.

Take rate — where the split is actually observable

Refused: the take-rate league table. For 7 of the 8 networks carrying both fields, the fees and revenue figures are identical to the cent (CHUTES, OPEN, WAL, NODE, FLOCK, AUKI, HOPR). An upstream source emitting the same number in both fields is far more consistent with the split not being modelled for that protocol than with the protocol retaining 100% of user payments. Publishing those as “100% take rate” would assert an economic fact we cannot observe, and would imply they are all identical to the one network where the split IS visible. So the table above lists only the observable case.

Lifetime figures — not comparable to the above

Reported by the network’s own API, cumulative since launch. Shown apart because dividing a lifetime total by a 30-day window produces a ratio that looks like a finding and is arithmetic.
